Millenia Event Catering Showcases “Urban Wild” themed designs

Millenia Event Catering had the opportunity to participate in this year’s Snap’s! Fashion Night on Saturday May 12^th, 2012. This spectacular night was part of the four day celebration held in downtown Orlando. Snap! Orlando 2012 explored the theme of Urban Wild with street documentary style imagery. Inspiring a community of art enthusiasts who share a passion for the photography medium, the four day celebration showcased the work of renowned photographers in a variety of exhibitions, lectures and social events in various locations throughout Orlando.

Nick Wimer, Events Director with Millenia Event Catering reached out to colleague Tommy Murphy with Greenery Productions for a floral design that would play on this year’s theme “Urban Wild”. The designs were featured on a shelf that displayed art along with floral and culinary designs. The best way to adapt to the “Urban Wild” theme was to use a variety of floral that combined texture and color in a unique way. Succulents, Orange Pin Cushion Protea, Mango Calla Lilies and Rusty Orange Cymbidium Orchid Blossoms completed this unique vertical design accented with tall glass cylinders filled with illuminated aqua pearls.
