The 20th Annual Heart of Florida United Way’s Chef’s Gala took place this Saturday, May 19th at Disney World’s Epcot World Showplace. Recognized as one of Central Florida’s premier fine dining and wine pairing charity events, the Chef’s Gala also includes a sparkling wine and martini reception, as well as live music and a silent auction. Proceeds from the Chef’s Gala help fund local health and human service programs supported by United Way that provide food, shelter and other services to Central Floridians in dire need.
With more than 20 top chef’s representing the area’s finest restaurants prepared gourmet dishes and desserts paired with fine wines. As the exclusive in house floral designer of The Peabody Orlando Hotel, Greenery Productions custom designed a backdrop wall of Florida grown Sunflowers. Accenting this stunning plant wall were five duck vinyl’s representing the traditional March of The Peabody Ducks which began at its sister property, The Peabody Memphis.
