Abundant in nature, the color green signifies growth, renewal and health. Green occupies more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye than most colors and it shares some of the same calming attributes as the color blue. Nature uses this stable and expansive color as a background for all that buds and blossoms. It harmonizes with everything in nature’s rich cornucopia. Evoking nature itself, green floral arrangements transmit a message of renewal and optimism. With a large range of hues and shapes, green floral can keep your event or wedding day looking exciting and can enhance the appeal of a single color scheme.
The key to a successful monochromatic floral design is to incorporate different tones of the same hue including texture and height. Here is an inspiration design for a perfect green monochromatic centerpiece. A variety of budvases are topped with varying height floral. Spider Mums stand out as the tallest of the three. Their petals shoot out from the bloom as long, thin rays with hooked or coiled ends. Green Hypericum Berries to the right of the picture add airiness to the piece. Although it is often used as filler it can’t be denied that their ubiquitous appearance and their hearty, bright colors make them irresistible. The luscious miniature mint green hydrangea and their fabulous ruffle appearance adds the final touches of texture to this monochromatic design. One of the many attributes about the hydrangea flower is their ability to blend with other hydrangea. Combining multiple stems appears as one single and giant flower! Between the varying heights and hues of green, these floral make for a distinctive centerpiece!

Monochromatic events can sometimes be overlooked due to the misperception that a color concept is not as effective in creating that “wow” factor for your guests. Here are a few different ideas in which you can incorporate the green factor into an event and create that “wow” factor!
